Quality Boarding School

Having an adolescent who has behavioral troubles is really tough for any family; it especially becomes a lot trickier in case you can’t control them by yourself. For parents with a teen with behavioral disorders then you know exactly what I am referring to. My own 14 year-old daughter Shirley has got Attention deficit disorder that has consistently posed a problem in school, ever since she has started high school it seems to have gotten a lot worse.

We've employed tutors to help her keep up with her class and also have worked with the teachers to ensure that she is on track but yet she just appears to be really frustrated all the time about everything that we don’t know what to do. My husband and I looked at getting her attend a private school but a lot of them have been more than we could pay for and do not emphasize the things that she really needs assistance in. All of us took a tour of a nearby boarding school that specializes in struggling adolescents with learning/cognitive issues. The employees were really friendly and inviting and we were impressed by how smoothly the school was running. Together with their regular school work the teens are expected to engage in social activates, do chores, and also have therapy sessions. The school has an on call staff so the teens would be taken care of by experienced professionals at all times. All of the personnel have had rigorous instruction on how to deal with the kids and are closely watched at all times.
